And we will be calling North Carolina home for the next 3 years, starting at the end of June! Danny opened his envelope at 11am this morning to reveal that Duke University will be the site of his Pediatric Residency. He has decided to do a fellowship afterwards in Internal Medicine--not sure where that will be, probably Duke. AMAZINGLY ENOUGH, 4 of Danny's good friends (including his former roommate) also matched to Duke! We will already have plenty of friends close by. I am beyond excited about this new adventure and look forward to all of the family and friends visiting! Thank you for all of the support and encouragement. We really felt all of the prayers today. :o)

In an hour and a half Danny will be inducted into AOA, the honors society for his medical school. We will celebrate by having a nice dinner followed by an awards ceremony. And then...at 11am tomorrow, we open the envelope that reveals where we will be moving to!!!! I'm not saying which is my favorite, but our top choices include (in no order): Seattle, Palo Alto, Philly, Boston, and Duke. Medical school has been such a long rode full of highs and lows. Tomorrow will be the conclusion of our Dallas era and the start of our new married life together. Cheesy, I know, but I'm so excited to share this journey with my new husband!! Keep fingers crossed and we will post tomorrow where our new address will be!
